A Murano bullicante art glass bowl in voluptuous flower shape made by overlaying two layers of air bubbles glass.
Large bowl or vase in the shape of a flower in Murano art glass in the style of what the workshops of Barovier, Seguso or other master glassmakers made in Italy around the 1950s. This very heavy bullicante vase has a slender base that gives it style and lightness.
It features a transparent very brilliant controlled bubbles acid green glass cased into clear bullicante glass. The result is striking. This heavy hand blown wavy top glass bowl has a design in flower shape with folded rim full of movement. The bowl has quite a high stem that gives it lightness and elegance. This large art glass vase can be used as vide-poche, decorative bowl ou cigars / cigarettes ashtray. It wass made in the 1950's in the workshop of a Murano master glassmaker. It is unsigned.
Measurements : 21 cm wide and 11 cm tall.
Condition: Excellent used condition. Very light traces of wear underside.
